A six-decade-old wildlife reserve, Corbett was established in the year 1936 to protect many endangered species. The park was later named after the legendary hunter turned conservationist and author, Jim Corbett. It holds close to 600 species of avifauna.

IMP -The main park (Dhikala) is closed from mid-June to mid-Nov.
